Hello, I'm Savannah
Wedding and family Photographer
I’m an authentic photographer, storyteller, and lover of golden hour light. My love for photography began with horses. I would always see photographers out at the horse shows with their big, fancy cameras and think, “WOW! I want to be just like them!”
My parents bought me my first “real” camera when I was a teenager, and I spent hours out in the pasture taking photos of my horses and the wildlife around me. What started as a simple hobby quickly turned into a passion for photographing people — and now, I get to call it my dream job.
These days, I focus on capturing the real, in-between moments — the happy tears, the wild dance moves, and everything that makes your love story uniquely yours. When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll probably find me hanging out with my children and my husband, Blake (yes, the one in the Batman Crocs), sipping coffee, or cuddling up with my dog while editing love stories.
My approach

Photography, to me, is all about capturing real moments — the genuine connections, quiet in-between glances, and the beautiful chaos that makes life so meaningful. I lean into a lifestyle approach, focusing less on stiff poses and more on how you feel in the moment. Whether it’s a family session full of giggles and snuggles or a wedding day overflowing with emotion, my goal is to create a space where you can truly be yourselves — and I’ll be there to tell your story, honestly and artfully.

The Meaning behind the name

Yellow Jasmine Photography is named after my very first horse, Yellow Jasmine a.k.a Jazzy. She came into my life when I was just 10 years old and quickly became so much more than a horse—she was my first love, my greatest teacher, and my constant companion.
We grew up together. Through every chapter of my childhood and early adulthood, Jazzy was there—steadfast, spirited, and gentle. She stayed by my side until I was 21, and when she passed, she left a mark on my heart that still guides me today.
When it came time to name my photography business, I knew there was no better way to honor the memory of my heart horse. Just like she did, I hope my work captures beauty, connection, and the stories that matter most.
